Biography
Software Engineer / Sound Designer
Tetsuya Matsuda
At the age of ten, I was captivated by programming and began writing
code.
Before long, I launched my own website to share original freeware and games—drawn
in by the joy of having others use what I created and the freedom of expression
the digital world offered.
Later, I discovered that code could generate sound. This revelation
pulled me into the world of music.
I immersed myself in composition and arrangement using DTM (desktop music
production), and music soon became another vital language for expressing
my inner senses.
Driven by a desire to broaden my means of expression, I entered Kyoto
Seika University, where I explored media expression across both visual
and auditory dimensions.
During my studies, I also studied abroad at Bard College in New York, an
experience that allowed me to reexamine the shape of my own creative identity
through cultural exchange.
Today, I work as a software engineer developing websites and business
systems, while also engaging in interdisciplinary projects involving
music and video.
Moving fluidly between logic and sensibility, I continue to explore forms
of expression that resonate—at the intersection of technology and art.
